Fieldglass

KoboToolbox · Grok

Read a Kobo form without exporting it first.

Fieldglass pulls submissions through the Kobo API, draws the counts, breakdowns, and map, then lets you ask Grok for the cut you actually need.

  1. 01Connect. The token stays in this browser. Kobo is called from this app’s server, so the token never sits in page scripts as a public request.
  2. 02Choose. Pick one form or several. The dashboard opens on one at a time, and you can switch.
  3. 03Ask. A written insight comes back with a chart. Pin it, then refine it with a follow-up.
Connect a server
Use the server where the form was deployed. A Global token will not open an EU project.

In Kobo, open Account settings → Security and copy the API token. Fieldglass keeps it in this browser’s local storage only and sends it to this app’s server to call Kobo. It is not written to a database.

Open fictional River Ward surveys. No token is stored or sent, and Grok is not called.
